Hi everybody..
Just realised today that it has been more than a month since i last posted stuff on ma blog...
its amazing how time flies..
Was just flippin thru sum peeps blogs and thot to write a lil sumthn today.
To the average person, election time is when the irresponsible local government chairman starts to patch a damaged road, or wen aspirants start to make empty promises,..
Looking around, we see results of promises unkept starting from the highest authority to even the lowest cadre.
was watching a gubernatorial debate some days back, and instead of most of those aspirants to explain to the acerage man what his government will do, bogus words which mean nothing to a man whose only concern is to feed his family, were used!!..
we even see incumbent officials trying to put into office their own people, whearas in a democratic environment, its not supposed to be so..
why would they want their own candidates there? to cover their asses of course!! which of them can boast of not being corrupt?.
i look forward to a time where the average man can refuse bribe because everytime its accepted, it simply means someone else has bought another person.
Integrity lies not in eye service, but especially when there's nobody there, what will you tolerate?.
In a country where the qualified roam the streets and the unqualified are given preference simply because of "interests"..
Let all those who have sold their destinies for a face cap and tshirt think twice, because someday they also will b parents and would see their wards choose their paths as well..
but there's hope for a set of people who will refuse to be corrupted by the "kings" and "princes" of thses times.. those people will stand for what they believe in and guess what?. THEY WILL BE THE LAST MEN STANDING!!!..
are u feeling discouraged? dont worry, just continue to dream and also work hard!!.. people say the patient dog gets no bone at all, but the truth is that for everyman opportunity will have to meet preparation for him to move to the next level..
so keep preparing, the opportunity is on its way..
before i forget, my "baiday" is 26th, so i'm expecting my gifts o!!, send all d gifts to my P.A Omohemi Benson..

post valentine blues!!
Hi everyone and welcome to the aytwin karaoke dance party of the month!!
how was the valetide period?..
well for me.. i wasnt really goin to b a participant, i had already sent my lovie messages to "friends"..
just thot to share sum messages i got with y'all.
"there might not b any babe to share today with, but knowing a guy like u has my back counts a lot.
happy vals day"..
that was from one dude like that.. a very gud friend of mine.
...lets fast forward a lil.. sum1 else sent me credit, now i'd been moaning about being broke and all.. but sum1 sent me credit, another friend got me this verey inspirational book and came over to even share sum time with me..
so on the whole my vals day wasnt bad at all..
i especially thot it'd b a drag what with no one to coo into her ears..., and was looking forward to a quiet night probably watch a movie or two and do some reading, and then go to bed.
but the day was so special cos some pple decided to just make it count for me..
so here's to that especially special person and also consistent friend, who has stood beside me thru thick and thin
nows not the time to share the stories, but eveentually,...

walking down the AISLE
Hi everyone!!.
..i just got back from where i went to do some clearance..
what was sposed to take me like 3 hours max, took like sum 7 hours or more.
not like i am complaining, cos i had a field day with the chicks there!!. there are chichs and there are CHICKS!!!. saw sum chicks that wuld make halle berry (i have a crush on her o!!) green with envy, and all their hips were saying was truth and nothing but the truth..no lies.
i was tellin a friend of mine how that another friend of ours with whom i recently interacted with online now had a baby boy, and he asked me wen i'd b walking d aisle.. hmn!!..
that i better go hook a chick and walk..
folks u know sum walks dont end?. marriage is one of such..i cracked for a while about the topic and later got thinkin'.
y is it that the happiest days for so many couple is just the wedding day, and later on soooo many of them regret signing some documents? well me i think that one of the first things that wuld make me make up my mind about some girl is the fact that we are very compatible in !@#$ ( haba!! i wanted to say in our conversational skills..)
on a more serious note, we gotta enjoy conversing with each other, cos wen the attraction fades, the conversational skills will matter a lot..
and that person will have to just actually be my friend. what do i mean? u culd b with sum1 in a relationship, and realise that u are not actually very free with that person. trust me!!
apart from all that, d person might look like halle berry.. did i say might? i meant will have to look like halle berry..that girl fine, she know she fine.
and she'd better have hips i can forget my arms around!!, with a face like whoa!!.
so all females who kinda fit into this category shld come for auditioning on saturday, tell ur folks u are going for halle berrycan idol, and the winner goes home with the judge...ME!!!
...just kiddin(except the halle berry part). i kinda think marriage is a very serious issue and based on that, i think peeps shld really consider, u cant afford to b careless about a future decision u know?..
and life has no reset button, only god makes the difference. i'd rather hear what He has to say about ma life than play roulette with it.

ma first lip contact
for the purposes of those who are underaged, i'll say lip contact..
must ave been like sum 8 or 9 years ago!!!. (ave i made anymore lip contacts since then? kall me to find out!!).
i was in secondary school, final year then..there was this gal i was dating then and we were in d same class, twas even close to d end of d third term and our valedictory service imminent.
now days b4 then, there was this feelin of impending loss..as that culd only b d explanation for a lot of "mismatched" couples in school then..(all conditions were lowered, and even d so called "cream" chicks were dating the "razzmattazfratazzgratazz" (oops!! got carried away!!) of d class.
of course i wasnt among the "razz..".hmn!! i b cream boy o!! ( if i advertise myself, who can vex, if u vex, go and create ur own blog!!).
anyway, here comes this chick that v known since like ages ago and she is apologising for a "wrong" she did like sum 3 years earlier!!.
i culd b very playful, so i acted like i remembered the "wrong".(till date i still cant figure it out), and tell her that she wld ave to make it up to me apologisn everyday,till we leave school..
well she sends me this note to say that she's at my beck and call or sumthn like that.
b4 we cld say "ofada rice".. we bcame an item..close, she even got flogged on my behalf once..
lemme tell u about that one..
the day we did technical drawing ( i hate that course), i was really depressed, as i didnt really feel d paper, so after d paper, i go lounge at the boys hostel..and she came lookin for me there..
she did the empathic lover bit and i was really feelin cool,until i heard d thunderous voice of the proprietress in d hostel..
sharply i started snoring, making sounds like a broken record..she cldnt run anywhere and d proprietress met her there, and instantly dished out custom-made slaps that wuld drive u upside down if properly landed, folks it is with great shame that i tell u that i merely intensified my snoring, b4 i became the next target of a physical assault..
i just heard sounds that i doubted culd ever come from my "cream" babe..
i guess d cream was turned into "s'cream..anoda type of cream by the way
...so even after that public display of "affection", we bcame closer..
finally grad. day came, i carted loads of prizes, and then we (me and her of course!!) went upstairs to an empty classroom, by this time.. i was as jittery as a cornered rat (did i mention that prior to that i had boasted to her that my kisses culd make a lady swoon).
so we get there, and i almost told her to say this prayer point (lord!! this step we are about to take..) and she is obviously expectant, and i am obviously sweating!!, so i tell her to "bring her lips"..she burst into laughter, and told me to b serious!!.
to cut d story short, i ehm!!. made lip contact, and did she swoon? well its more like did i swoon!!.
we went back downstairs and i puffed out my chest feelin on top of the milky way!!.
...we all got such xperiences, and it depends on what it triggers wen u remember it, i know ow i laff wen i remember this one, but blive it or not i'm better for it.

Its Christmas
hi y'all..
i am so sooooooory for not being consistent and all!!!
a lot has happened to me since then u know?.
mayb i'll give u the gist later. but for now can u guys blive that its christmas again?
my goodness!! we're in the eleventh month, and fast approaching the 12th month.
A lot of you probably dont look 4ward to it, and even those who look 4ward to it have their share of trepidation.'..
i want you to know that whether u look 4ward to it or not, its goin to come!!.
and while it comes, you have the option of being positive about it.
i am not preaching sumthn i dont blive in,. cos as the man thinketh, so is He.
its whatever u blive that comes to pass. and in coming to pass, u have to realise that u can "RECREATE" ur own world by merely bliving and CONFESSING!!!
but first, what this deal is about is that of being a positive thinker...
b4 i sign out, i want to wish u a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a prosperous NEW YEAR!!!.

How easy is Trusting??
hi peeps!!
lately sum stuff has been happening to me, and the based on that, i want to share.
i hope it helps u either now or later..
we all at some point or the other will need to either trust or be trusted,..but bearing in mind the fickle nature of the "human being"..how often a person trusts only for it to b thrown back iin ur face.
but thats not even the trust i'm talking about..
i'm talkin about trust and God!! this might seem "religious" to those of you who still have a problem with the truth that there aint nothing that can b without the God factor..or salvation.
How easy is it to trust God even when the circumstances are saying something different from what God said?. When God says its goin to rain and all around you, all u see is the scorching sun!!! and it looks like its not goin to stop the heat.
How do u reconcile His saying that The trouble wont last no more, yet the bills accumulate, the eviction notice is on its way, and the job is gone!!.
How does it look when everybody is sayn the same thing and that thing is negative..., and even glaring for u to see, as sure as the weather. but only God is saying something else!!!
but lemme tell you something, i'd still rather still believe Him than blive a man..
a man once said that "tho' the fig tree refuses to blossom (his only means of sustenance),...I will still praise Him.".
i want u to know that if its only God u got, He's better than a million men's approval.
presently, i am findin it a lil hard to reconcile that truth..but truths are unchanged and unbendable as opposed to facts.
but still i want u to try and learn how to trust God cos if its only God u ave, He's more than enuff.

work shifted to a nu dimension and i'm tryn to catch up with a lot of things...
b4 i go back to work this morning.i'd like to drop a lil sumthn,..

been a while.
hi guys..
its been a while..and ow many days has it been? a friend of mine got married last week.
and i was congratulatin im..but a colleague of mine didnt se it that way..
he must be thinkin marriage is a hell-hole..
well it is a lot of responsibility and i must say that especially now, our men need realise that they are slippin into an unconsciousness as regards marriage.
i wanna give kudos to all those men who make their kids priority and make sure that they give their best to it..
and for those of us who arent married yet, it takes planning and commitment and i want u all to take a stand in deciding to make ur marriege work.
even wen God has said "this is the one"..it only makes u realise that u need to work harder..
cos if u're slack about it..
u'll get a very slacked result....

yesterday was democracy day in Nigeria, and it was sposed to b a day of reflecting on the ideals of democracy e.t.c
i hope those of us in Naija were able to relax??
i wanna talk about wat we consider fair or not fair!!! from who u ask??
well from a buddy we all know>.."LIFE!!!
he gives to u wat u ask from him..yeah!!
ave u noticed that the phases are faster than they used to b? there was a time wen it was like evry1 around u was at the same place, but now....the few u keep in touch with are not all on the same level and sum of us just want to blame life and economy for wat is happenin to us..
truth is U ARE THE MAJOR FACTOR OF WAT HAPPENS TO U!!!

not that pple dont feel the same way about me esp. my folks friends!!!! everytime we meet, they are always sayn "u ave grown o!!" as if they avent grown!!!
but my point is that there was a time when i crawled and then i started walkin and runnin'..
very soon weddin bells wuld start ringin all ova..

...gentleness/aggression...meeknes/humility
for a while now folks..., i've been struggling with sum lethargy..
i realised much later that there i a lot wrong with this time of ours!!
we are in the microwave period..evry1 wants evrythn and right now...
but we ave to realise that anythn worthwhile takes time..yeah!! TIME!!!
we dont like hearin that...
now gentleness as against aggression is sumthn really misplaced..cos to pple, being gentle is akin to being a "mugun"!!! but the truth is that gentleness accorgin to C.S Lewis is havin an inner strength that doesnt shout or loud, but in the end emerges the winner
humility as against meekness is also confused, i think meekness is when there is power in ur hands, but u are still in control of it and ur senses..simply put
meekness is a form of humility that a person has wen he/she has power at their disposal and weild it with absolute humility
when there is no power, one cant exactly be said to be meek!!!! cos wat can he/she do??
i hope you get??
my advice today is that lets discipline ourselves so much that wen u ave made urself right, the right things will come ur way..

now gentleness as against aggression is sumthn really misplaced..cos to pple, being gentle is akin to being a "mugun"!!! but the truth is that gentleness accorgin to C.S Lewis is havin an inner strength that doesnt shout or loud, but in the end emerges the winner
humility as against meekness is also confused, i think meekness is when there is power in ur hands, but u are still in control of it and ur senses..simply put
meekness is a form of humility that a person has wen he/she has power at their disposal and weild it with absolute humility
when there is no power, one cant exactly be said to be meek!!!! cos wat can he/she do??

::Life::!!!!! "wat will u be remembered for"??
aiiiight!!
so sorry its been a while that i've sent any post..
this is where i pour my thots and the little stuff i've noticed about this LIFE!!!
today i realise that we are so fragile so for those of us who think we ave all the time in the world to nurse quarrels and all!!
or to even indulge in a lil habit of ours!!
i tell u that we dont ave all that time in the world to do all that. .
yesterday wen i was goin home, the bus i took was looking quite alrite to me, so i boarded it..
we narrowly escaped bein crushed twice b4 i got to where i alighted..it was so scary that as we got down, a man shouted "praise the Lord"!! and evrybd responded..now i wasnt afraid, tho m'heart skipped several beats..but i just had one peace that i wouldnt die..
so i thot that wat if the accidednt actually hapenned..at most pple wuld talk about it 4 a day..close friends wuld mourn for a while and even family wuld mourn for a longer time, but LIFE goes on.
i challenge u to better ave sumthn u are living for, and to also be ready for anythn cos this life is so short, live peaceably with all men, live for a reason and make impact cs after a man dies, wat reamains is the amount of impact he has made...

..this mornin'..
Hi!!!! just got in and thot to drop another sumthn b4 the day's job starts..
i was talkin about the rat race thing yesterday and just b4 i continue, i want to say that wateva u do consistently and continuosly becomes a habit....and be careful wat habits u are making cos u'll probably pass that down to the next generation and think about the impact of that "habit"!!!!!
wu says habits are hard to break?? i'm afraid its true!!! but truth is that it is possible...
so get out of that habit and get into a new one k??
gotta go. mayb i'll be back later 2day for anoda "lil sumthn"!!!

sumthn i read!!
Good morning folks!!
...just wanted to share a lil sumthn i read yesterday..i get home around 8.00 and i force myself to read a lil sumthn each nite b4 i go to bed..
so here are yesternite's excerpts::
ave u noticed that evrywhere esp. lagos, there is a lot of hurrying?? pple do a lot but at the end of the day, there's little to show 4 it!!
ITS A RAT RACE!!!!...ow do u get out of it?? well 4 starters..
being a doer not a dreamer: m not sayn u shldnt dream, but after all's been said and not done, more has truely been said and not DONE!!!
Effective time management: mondays to fridays is alwways busy, saturdays are too short, and sundays are for church and the cycle goes on and on...so ow do u improve?? try create time either b4 u sleep or early in the morn..and it wuld amaze u that if we actually scrutinize wat we do thru the week, u'd realise that sum of our activities are not necessary.
...gotta do sum work now..
will be back to give sum more later...ave a good day

::a lil sumthn
aiight!!! people.. i sat in the bus beside a woman today and when it was time to collect my change, i was not given the exact amount, so i didnt collect it and suddenly the woman was all over me saying "take that one first e.t.c" i almost shouted at her cos she was really over me..
but i refrained..on alighting, i noticed that she was pregnant!!! wats my point?? i think that even b4 we give pple wat we think is due to them in terms of replies, lets just chill a bit..u neva know, they might be "pregnant"!!
